I have been hooked on Rosanne since hearing Bill Shapiro feature her Ten Song Demo on Cypress Avenue around a decade ago. She is an incredible lyricist and gifted musician. Rosanne's voice was beautiful and strong at the fantastic concert. Leventhal's guitar work was impeccable with wonderful tone. That guy is an amazing talent. I think they played 2 new songs that will be out next year. Liked those quite a bit! I could listen to her for hours on end. Oh yeah, I have listened to her for hours on end. I wonder if she knows how good a performer and writer she is. Loved long black veil, blue moon with heartache, Ode to Billie Joe (that was a fun surprise), thank god that I now have Big Something's emotive version of motherless children to replace the one Clapton put in my head (no offense Eric, but Jesus!). Wish wish wish she had performed Western Wall...Maybe next time.
